Students initiated the SMILE Project with young patients in the Paediatric Oncology Department of Calicut Medical College. They visited the department and after understanding their requirements they contributed the items required for the ward and also did their best to arrange the ward aesthetically. A program has also been arranged along with the television show singer Keerthana to make the children happy and entertained. Students were excited to be associated with the tiny humans at the ward by presenting them with gifts on their birthdays.
